I apologise profusely for misstating your words. To make my comment completely clear I will reword it. Personally I have no idea which are the MOST profitable routes but if I was running an airline, which I am not, I would be inclined to put MORE flights on the MOST profitable routes not on the LEAST profitable. Since he is cancelling planes on the routes with MORE flights I am PRESUMING, perhaps wrongly, that he IS in fact cancelling flights on the MOST profitable routes. Who knows. As always, just an opinion.

Monarch did go into administration this morning. Their 300,000 future bookings are cancelled and the CAA is working to repatriate the 110,000 passengers that are stranded abroad. Coming on the back of Ryanair it is not a good time for travellers or airline employees.

I used to use Monarch regularly until I heard rumours of bankruptcy a while back, feel sorry for people stranded.
