The governing parliamentary committee have agreed on the conditions for the opening up of most of the professions and working trade groups. They will now take a week and meet again to see if any further changes are needed, in early February it will be presented to parliament and is expected to go through to become law. Then by the end of June (a 4 month change over period) that law will become 100% effective.
How many professions are affected is unknown precisely but at last count it was 350 and growing and the general comment is that it would be easier to list areas where restrictions still existed.
It is tremendously wide and sweeping and the next 4 months are going to reveal a lot of changes.
There are certain professions such as the chemists who are not in this bill but are being opened up by a bill specifically for their industry going through in parallel to the above.
