Facts and science! It was milder during Viking times. Thought it was a well known fact. Then followed the little Ice Age and the Thames froze etc... Climate has been up and down over the last 12,000 years but the peak temps were around Viking times. Pollen analysis indicates a decline in temps in general until the 1980s but Global Warming (blip or not) is a short period so far........
