I have been wearing a face mask and wearing latex gloves from the outset and they heat you up really fast. I do hope that the air conditioning will be on high in the food shops (etc.) as the weather warms up. I don’t intend to visit other shops and establishments for some time yet.

As far as I am aware it is any public inside space. For example a shop is a public inside space so you have to wear one. It would not matter if there wasn't a single other customer in the shop. Similarly for buses, taxis hairdressers etc.

My barber is going to have quite a challenge when I ask him to shave me. Perhaps he'll just work around the mask. Or brassiere cup ...

Clio wrote:An update to the link I posted earlier to an online Greek company providing washable white cotton face masks...mine arrived this morning, just as promised, having been ordered on Sunday night. Each in its own cellophane envelope, labelled Made in Greece, sent from Heraklion. I'm very happy with bestpharmacy.gr.

Thanks for that Clio but can you supply the link to the actual page so I can check that what I've found is what you're referring to (I suspect not).
On the site the only mask I've found is Honren 3PLY Protection Mask Single Use 50 Items (Product Code: 16384) Priced at €39.95 for 50 but, unfortunately, shown as Out of Stock. I suspect these are different from yours as they're single use which suggests they're not washable.

This is the link to the mask I found.

Maybe one of these, Filippos?

Both are out of stock when I looked just now but you can request an email to advise when they are back in stock.

Sorry can't do abbreviated links!

Based on the price Clio quoted I suspect it was this one Filippos.

Ooops. Just realised it is the same one Mathitis linked.

That's right - the 1.60 euro mask as linked by Mathitis and Filippos. Sorry to hear they've run out - I obviously got my order in just in time. My fall-back plan was going to be the mask-from-a-sock job and I still quite fancy having a go at that if facial protection becomes the New Normal.

I think that should be 'Mathitis and Kilkis'.

Yep, I'm the βλάκας* who couldn't find the one you suggested. By the way, thanks for the original link to the site.

* To check the tonos position I put the word into Google Translate and discovered 28 English synonyms. The only one missing from the list that I could think of, without plunging into profanity, was 'dunderhead'.

Yes I probably went a bit far in non-medical data being used when recording movement of the covid19 virus although the potential would be there.
