The mask is mandatory for citizens in MMM, TAXI, elevators, hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers.

The mask is mandatory for employees in MMM, TAXI, supermarkets, grocery stores that manage non-standard food, in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, hairdressers and beauty salons.

In the other closed spaces, offices, hairdressing visitors, etc. A strong recommendation is given to use a mask or face mask if possible.

I think the original instruction from the government was for mandatory face mask use in all shops by customers and staff, but they later backtracked to what is in the attachment here. I'm guessing they realised people will struggle to find face masks for sale....

They are certainly not suitable for medical purposes but the advice at the moment is that, for the general public, a simple cotton mask is recommended and they are 100 % cotton. If a folded cotton tea towel, a piece of cotton T-shirt or a cut up cotton sock is suitable I can't see why a mask shaped to fit your face made with 100 % cotton is not suitable?

I think because cotton is not entirely a true filter. A peice of folded kitchen paper towel is best placed behind the mask or inside a sock if this is to be used.
On the subject of disposable masks, I wonder if they can be re-used if they are sprayed with anti-bac after each use?

Bright sunlight each side for two minutes.

Alternatively, if mask is washable, soapy water. There's no need to use antibacterial soap unless you like to waste money.

I also read that rinsing in salty water before drying will add an extra layer of protection.

You can believe whatever you like but I recommend perusing ALL the available evidence before making up your mind. Yes, I'm afraid that it takes time but what else have you got to do that's more important than informing yourself about something that might kill you (or family members)?
