Dimitra Apartments, Sitia

we are planning to stay in Sitia for several days on our forthcoming holiday in East Crete and an internet search has turned up the Dimitra Apartments. Before we book, does anyone know these or the general location in the town? They are described as being 70m from Sitia beach and 800m from the town's central square on the road to palm beach Vai. My main concern is that they should not be next door to the town's main night club as we both need our sleep!
Any thoughts, comments or alternative suggestions would be very welcome.

Hi Katharine,

We stayed here in 2006 while we looked around Sitia,(where we now live)
Very clean and tidy, Dimitria is a very nice lady, speaks english and is very acommodating.
You will need a car as Hudson says, they are a little out of town, a nice walk in the Sun, a long way if it's cold at night. They are right opposite the beach, very short walk.
I will recommend them if you want peace and quiet.

Nice, very quiet, set back from the road, private parking, sea view. Large open spaces outside, I would say as described.

yes 800m out of the centre of town but certainly walkable - we've done it twice a day most days we've stayed there. Very quiet as they're set back 150m off the main road and behind banks of bamboo. Apartments are basic greek but Dimitra is wonderful. On Google maps they're here:
