So far as I know there's nothing regular. In Apokorona I've seen, maybe, three a year usually in aid of a charity supported by foreign (usually British) residents. I have a vague memory of seeing one advertised recently in, I think, Gavalochori but it may already have happened.

theres a normal Sunday morning street market most Sunday mornings in the general area behind Halkidakis on the Souda road

It is not a boot fair though it has similarities

Theres also a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (or is it Friday) and a Saturday market in other areas of Chania

Theres more info on markets under General Discussion thread title Hania Outdoor Markets round about last Feb time

As to finding me walking the markets with or without string vest or string bag, thats going to be as rare as hens teeth. I know where the markets are so I can avoid them.

I come from the bungy jumping school of shopping, know where you are going, park away from it, walk in , grab what you want, return to your starting point asap. Finish. (unless it's the computer shop)

I hope you stop long enough to pay after the grab.

Have just been informed that there isn't a Sunday market anymore.

Maybe it is a winter thing, maybe it has stopped altogether
