BRIDGE

Looking for at least 2 more Bridge Players to make a foursome NE area (Crete)

Or perhaps two who can play Partner Whist, we could teach you the rules of Bridge, very much the same, major difference is the "Bidding"

A further Plea for Bridge players or anyone interested in learning the game.
We play Rubber bridge once or twice a week. We are willing to change days and or time if it helps.
We currently have 7 Players , 2 are currently on long term sick, one only visits the Island from Athens 3 times a year and an American who comes each year for 3 weeks to play Bridge .

So, currently there are only 3 of us available. We are a friendly group, no arguments, just play for fun and regular chats.

We play just outside of Agios Nikolaos (NE Crete).

Sorry I can't help with your area, Evansmr1, but if anybody is short of an extra player in the Chania area I would be interested. I would prefer Partner Whist but I know the basics of Bridge.

PS How can you have fun if there are no arguments? Arguing is fun.

Arguing at Bridge can turn nasty, my group prefer a short analysis if the contract is not made. We used to argue and through that lost a Player.

Good news is that we have a potential new Player who has played Partner Whist and wants to learn Bridge.

Bridge is a wonderful game, very good for the Brain.

Got to keep it friendly, even with the booze that we also consume whilst playing.
