Road Tax 2015 - A graphic guide on how to print and pay!

Postby Stavros » Tue Nov 04, 2014 6:27 pm

Dear friends,

The time has come again to pay for our vehicle (road) tax!

The process is exactly the same as last year, although last year’s link is somehow hidden. The guide below will help you print and pay your Road tax even if you do not own a TaxisNet username and password.

The link is here:

https://insurance-greece.com/downloads/ ... -road-tax/

You can either download the file or view it online.

The only info needed is your AFM and the vehicle’s license plate number and the deadline is December 31st (for now...).

For people who own a username and password the guide continues so that you can find more info should you wish to.

It's also worth keeping in mind that some banks offer installments if you pay by card.

Important

For vehicles that have more than one owner the slip can be printed by either owner. So each owner will get the slip with the total amount (do not pay two slips!)

Thanks,

Stavros

Thanks Stavros, I have just followed your graphic guide and link and printed off my car tax receipt for 2015. The system works fine and there's need to have a username and password if you do it this way.

Thanks Stavros. I still had the link saved from last year but it has altered somewhat. If anybody has cookies blocked, as I do, you need to allow cookies from https://www1.gsis.gr otherwise it won't work.

Problem Stavros. I followed the instructions and a pop-up window did appear - but it was blank! Just sat there looking at me. Eventually I gave up and tried again, but this time the Stage 5 button is not 'active' - presumably the system knows that I have already done most of the work except print the page (which was blank!) and won't let me back in. Is there a way to start again? Bob.

Hello Stavros. Ignore the previous post. The problem comes when I get the pop-up window which is blank. However, a download arrow at the top of my screen is activated and there is a document called rwservlet shown as having been downloaded, but I am then asked which program I want to use to open it. So far I have failed to find one. I am using Windows XP and Office 2003- do you think could be the cause? Bob

3rd message in a row. Office 2007 on another pc solved the problem. I do love my Windows XP and Office 2003 (which worked last year) but it can cause problems from time to time. Anyway, document printed out and ready for a trip to the bank. Thanks Stavros for your easy to follow guidelines. Bob.

Many thanks Stavros, it worked perfectly, as a computer novice I found it so simple, long may you prosper.

Out of curiosity, do other people find that the text to the left of the ΕΙΣΟΔΟΣ button appears as a string of question marks rather than the Greek text shown on the help sheet posted by Stavros? I'm pretty sure that last year I saw it as Greek text.

Thanks for the replies, Filippos and Stavros. I recently did a complete install of my operating system and all programs. I wondered if I had forgotten to set something somewhere.
