Thanks Stavros. Can you repeat the instructions you gave last time for the benefit of non-Greek readers please?

Have they released a separate rate this year again based on C02 emissions?

Here's the link to last year's thread: http://www.livingincrete.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=6497&start=0 I guess we won't know if the method is identical until the portal opens on 4 November.

The portal is open but at the moment is unable to show the final road tax notification. I will let everyone know once it's ready!

Ekathimerini is today reporting that the road tax portal on Taxisnet will be working from 11th November.

Still not working as of this morning. I navigated to the link, keyed in AFM and registration number which came up as "search successful". On subsequently selecting "print", a new window opens which fails to connect to anything and times out.

Link here if anyone else cares to try https://www1.gsis.gr/webtax2/telhkykl/year2012/telhkykl/index.jsp

Note that the link is still headed "year2012" in the URL.

I also read this week (and can't remember where) that this year's road tax payment form will also include the vehicle luxury tax, where applicable. Possibly a cause for the delay in making the system work?

Exactly how did you "navigate to the link"? I cannot see anything on the gsis main page that suggests it would go to the payment of road tax form. I think you may have simply gone to last year's link which is still skulking about somewhere on the site?

Exactly like this:

GSIS home page

Start top left:

Υπηρεσιεσ προς

Drop down & select:

Πολιτες
Εντυπα τελων κυκλοφοριας
Εφαρμογη εκτυπωσης τελων κυκλοφοριας αυτοκινητων
Εισοδος

all of which takes you to the page I linked to above.

Input AFM, registration - page 2 (the print page) hangs.

Agree with footscapes.

Mind you, if they said it would be available on 4th November, then 11th November, are we not being a little naive in actually trying to use it on 11th November.

Maybe in about another 2 weeks? Laughing

I don't know if all banks do this. I just go into my bank - the Pancretan Co-operative Bank in Kalives, show them the registration document and they do the business for me. Simple. Avoids a lot of mucking about on a Greek website.
