BT Sport SD

Postby BST » Wed Jul 22, 2015 4:31 pm

Just noticed all 3 channels have gone! Not sure when we last tried to watch BT Sport so not sure if this is a new thing or not? Anyone else with the same problem? I'm sure everything was working after Astra 2G changes were made. Is it a FEC thing??? :(

BT Sport is changing radically as it will have all the Champions League this year instead of Sky. They now have a BT Sport Europe channel, a BT Sport ESPN channel as well as BT Sport 1 and 2. I don't know how that will effect viewing via Sky, I watch it via the BT Sport app which is also changing.

I don't subscribe to BT sport but Scooby told me last night that it had vanished. Don't know if it will return but I suspect not.

The BT Sport app won't work now even with a UK IP add as they want to pin point location via the iPad!!! I can still get it on my laptop though but for how long??????

I think BT use GPS on the smartphone to get your location so spoofing a UK IP address doesn't help. Should be OK on the laptop as that probably hasn't got GPS.

My thoughts as well so fingers crossed but reception not great on laptop. I have found the new frequencies but they don't work so it looks like laptop or nothing. Maybe the new frequencies for HD might work though???

BT sport back on but it doesn't take much for the picture quality to drop.
