Quiz Night at KLIMERTERIA

It is a little known fact, not exactly secret but nearly, Sitia's finest Pizza establishment, hosts an English language Pub quiz once a fortnight which is enjoyed by surprisingly large numbers of people.

Anyway to the point, after participating and consistently achieving last or near last place I innocently suggested to the nice Olive farming couple they should join us. They kindly agreed but, little did I know how intelligent they both are. Shock, horror we won, not only that I now have the task of compiling the next quiz. With my juvenile and fatuous mind can you imagine how bad it is going to be!!!!!!!

My life is constant adventure.

andheath , the secret to the quiz nights is to be consistently second, then you dont have to do the questions, you don't appear to be too dim and just in case they change the rules and make the team that comes last do the next questions, you're in the clear.

Just thought! now i've given away our secret, don't you go and change the rules and make the second place do the questions !!

Actually i cannot wait to see the questions you have, should be good fun

RIC have you been to the quiz? if so don't hide in the shadows, come forth and tell all. Maybe you are in the team that comes last? Or are you in amongst all the Americans?

Should we all have a secret handshake or something to identify ourselves from the "others".

I always found that the secret of quiz nights was to know the answers, it made the whole evening so much easier.

Of course you will need quiz nights in the east end, as a subconcious reassurance that you got the bigger question right (East or West). In the west of course we don't need such reassurance, we know.

Some good thought out questions I thought, although strangely nobody quite got the Ostrich going to a bar with a Cat that refused to buy a drink was in fact a long legged bird with a tight pussy.

They are only easy if you know the answer.

They were easy when we knew the answers - only problem was there weren't enough that we knew!

BTW - I had trouble with the Magic Roundabout dweller, but probably because in my mis-spent youth I encountered the rather less clean version and it came straight back into my head!
