photography studio

i want to start photography studio here in crete.
does anyone knows where i can buy equipment in Iraklio?

lights, softboxes.. etc..

Anyway, I live in Chania so not 100% sure about Heraklion but I think that you will most probably need to get professional photo gear through Athens. You'll find most things in Athens and they'll courier overnight so that's not a big hassle.
I find the prices of pro photo gear generally high in Greece (tends to be list price with very little discounting) so in the end you might save a fair amount of money (10 to 25%) by ordering in northern Europe where there is more competition between shops.

Probably only someone overwhelmed by all the work options in Crete.

baccybabs, just curious but why do you (almost) always write in bold letters?

Try the camera shop in Lion Square, near the town hall he has most gear you will need or be able to get it.
