Assuming you mean a simple landline phone then I found Public in Chania had a decent selection at reasonable prices. Alternatively you could order through e-shop. Press yellow button labelled "Δείτε όλα τα προιόντα" for full range.

There's a phone shop in Kalyves, one or two shops along from the Pankreta bank at the plateia.

I have ordered from e shop again.
The phone I want says immediately available but shows the different stages of purchasing.
Surely if it's immediately available I can just go to the shop and collect it?

Cheers

Unfortunately not. e-shop in Chania is not a shop, it is a distribution centre. No stock is held in Chania. All stock is held in warehouses around Athens and is shipped directly to you or to the local e-shop distribution centre when you order. It's more like Amazon. Immediately available simply means that it is in stock in their warehouse so it should ship quickly. Sometimes e-shop doesn't have items they advertise in stock themselves but acquire the item from the manufacturer's Greek distribution centre when you place the order. In that case delivery can take a little longer.

Why don't you just go to a Vodafone or Germanos shop in Chania and buy one? There must be loads of mobile phone shops there. Heck, we have at least four in sleepy old Sitia!

Hi Warwick

Went to the shop this morning. Very helpful people and speak English.
Luckily my hair clippers arrived so I saved myself 3 euros lol.
My phone will b2e there tomorrow so I'll be back there.

Reason I didn't go to a Vodafone or Germanos shop was due to the price.. much cheaper with e shop..

I have also found them very helpful and they are pretty good with returns. I have taken back two "faulty" products.

In one case, a jet washer, a plastic clip was broken off one of the accessories, a deck scrubber attachment, and they got that replaced for me. It took a long time and the first replacement was also broken but that was the manufacturer's fault, not e-shop. I could have returned the whole product and got a refund but the main unit was good and I wasn't in a rush for the accessory.

The second item, a pair of Ethernet power-line adaptors, turned out not to be faulty at all but they wouldn't work on my house wiring. In that case I got a refund, less 10 %, which I thought was pretty fair.

Finally took delivery of my new z5 dual sim card but the phone does not come with dual sim availability despite the advert saying it does.

Have emailed e shop so I'll wait for their reply.

This is turning into a nightmare.
