Daily, somewhere on the planet, people are at work tightening a virtual noose around what’s
left of nature. Ceaselessly, humanity keeps covering more and more of the world with
concrete, adds piles of tiles, tons of tarmac and asphalt to the already existing mass as if
the final goal was to cover all and everything.
Nature’s answer, of course, sometimes comes in the form of violent earthquakes, landslides,
avalanches and hurricanes that tear much if it up. More often, however, and less noticed,
nature answers in more silent ways by cunningly inserting itself back, finding all possible little
cracks to make its comeback, and to survive.
