Things To Do When It Snows … On Crete

There are people, even though they moved to Crete, who would love to have it snow this or
every winter. I’m not one of those, but I’m all for freedom of mind.

I hope it doesn’t snow, at least not where I live, and I prefer that all snow lovers have to pilgrim at
least to heights like Omalos in order to revel in the sights, the stillness, the beauty of it all. I do
appreciate snow myself, just not on my front door or in the backyard.

The images below show the creativity snow can engender … and I hope that you’ll send your own
photographs of similar creations made during the winter of 2009/2010 …
